As cofounder of the label Metalheadz, alongside DJ partner Kemistry and producer-instigator Goldie, Storm—AKA Jayne Conneely—presided over the cutting edge of drum & bass in the mid-'90s, as the sound evolved from rowdy ragga and hardcore into the outer limits of breakbeat science.
