Tokyo born, NYC-based Masahiro Ueda aka DJ Healthy got into dance music through the Matrix soundtrack, deepening his love throughout high school as older friends would take him to trance parties and countryside raves. During university his tastes steered him towards house music and by graduation time it was clear that rather than aiming for that nine to five, he’d pursue music, starting with a job at a WOMB, a legendary club in Shibuya. Soon he was organizing parties himself. Since then his pursuits have led him to NYC, a city he’s called home for the past ten years now.
