Rave man, spiritual leader, mayor of enjoyment. Call him what you want but one things is for sure: you’re in for a good time as NYC-based Akanbi channels music through child-like purity. Soundwise his palette has range: from dropping Akon at Berghain  (there’s a Reddit thread about this) to banging out the best in UK broken beat, bass music, and straight up techno, while at times touching on amapiano. All of it is tied together by an unfiltered passion.

“Music is a love business” he says. And we can feel that.
